Big South, Horizon, and OVC Conference Tourney Predictions

I'll be putting more predictions up as the conference regular seasons come to an end.

Interesting. I've done the same thing, and I also see Austin Peay going out in the tournament final (though to a different team) and Winthrop steamrolling their conference. On the other hand, I think Butler'll be able to take down Wright State in their 3rd meeting this season. Gotta love conference tournament season!

And of course I forgot the close tag. It's 3 AM. Sorry ._.

Yeah, Eastern Kentucky's been playing really well, but Tech has the best backcourt in the OVC and is almost playing a home game in Nashville for the semis. I could see any of the top three seeds getting the auto bid though. Even if the Govs don't get it, Austin Peay is going to be deadly next year with everybody coming back.

I almost took Butler in their final too, but I just couldn't see them taking it on Wright State's home floor - particularly with Butler knowing they have an at large bid sewn up. We'll see if they can break their cold shooting streak in the conference tourney.

By the way, I noticed you were a Maryland fan. It must be nice to be weaving your way up from the bubble only a few weeks ago to top 5 seed consideration.

I also happen to strongly agree with your rushing the court post. It kills me everytime I see an almost premeditated rushing of the court by annual top 15 programs. This whole thing is almost as big of a pet peeve as the new Nike uniforms. Seriously, why are there horizontal stripes randomly thrown on the shoulders again? And why does half of college basketball have to wear them now?
